Jay Bedrosian, President of AES, provides strategic leadership to propel operational excellence, sustainable growth, and innovation throughout the organization. Jay, reporting to CEO John Wade, oversees all aspects of the company's operations, including restaurant management, business development, financial performance, and organizational strategy. He spearheads initiatives to elevate brand equity, optimize operational efficiency, and cultivate a culture of excellence across AES' portfolio of Arby’s units.
Since joining AES in 2007, Jay has been instrumental in expanding the company from 11 units in a single state to over 188 units across multiple states. His leadership encompasses large-scale restaurant remodels, new unit construction, IT integration to enhance operational efficiency, and strategic talent development. Jay also works closely with marketing teams and strategic partners to elevate brand positioning, foster customer loyalty, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. His dedication to innovation and operational excellence has earned him numerous industry accolades.
In addition to his leadership at AES, Jay serves as a Board Member of ARCOP, Arby’s national supply chain cooperative, where he helps guide strategic decisions to ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness across the brand. He is also an active member of Arby’s Ops Council, contributing to system-wide operational improvements and best practices.
Jay began his career with Arby’s/RTM in 2002, working under John Wade, then a Region President. His arrival at AES marked the beginning of a transformative period of growth for the company. He also serves as Vice President in two Marketing Co-ops and became a Partner in AES during the company’s Dayton and Tri-State acquisitions.
Jay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration with a minor in Business from The University of Tennessee. He is married to his wife, Jen and has one son, Eric. Jay values family and draws inspiration from his personal and professional life to lead AES with integrity and a commitment to excellence.
