As Vice President of Operations overseeing over 100 Arby's restaurants in the Southeast region, Michelle reports to the COO Robert Bird to drive exceptional performance and elevate business operations. Her leadership focuses on refining management strategies for recruiting and retaining top-tier talent, deploying resources efficiently to achieve financial forecasts, and leveraging her business acumen to enrich the guest experience.
Michelle's extensive career with AES began after 17 years at ARG, where she distinguished herself as a Franchise Business Consultant. Her stewardship of the Northeast Region brought substantial achievements, including the highest Average Unit Volumes (AUVs) and the most Certified Training Managers in the area.
Before her time at Arby's, Michelle launched her journey in the food industry at Texas Roadhouse as an Assistant Manager. Her career has been marked by a consistent track record of success, fostering team growth, and uplifting her colleagues to reach their goals.
An alumna of Marshall University in Huntington, WV, Michelle is an active member of Arby's Gender Equality Group and the Women's Foodservice Forum. Her commitment to community and brand values is reflected in her participation in numerous Foundation Events with Arby's. Her accolades include the prestigious Make a Difference Award from ARG, a position on the Brand Champ Development Committee, and contributions to International Franchise Development and Arby's Training Council.
