Melissa started her career in the restaurant industry at the age of fifteen working at Dairy Queen in Ladysmith, WI. While attending college, she began working at Pizza Hut, working as a cook then quickly moved into management starting as a Shift Manager, General Manager, and District Manager in Dahlonega, GA.
She joined RTM/ARG in 2006 as a fast-track Area Supervisor starting in Atlanta, Raleigh, and Charleston. She later joined GPS Hospitality, a Burger King Franchise, as a Director of Operations in Jackson, MS. To further her career, she joined DRG, in Kansas City as a Vice President of Operations. She built a diverse and competitive group of General Managers, District Managers, and Directors of Operations, where they successfully continued to expand the footprint in Kansas City through new stores and remodels through Covid.
Melissa is married to her husband, Doug, and has three children. She enjoys running, hiking, hunting, and kayaking when she can and has a passion for all sports, especially college football.
