Joe Davitt is the Chief Strategy Officer, reporting directly to AES owner and CEO John Wade. Joe is responsible for Strategy, Real Estate & Development, Acquisitions and Profit Optimization. He has served in a variety of roles across multiple functional areas for several national concepts. His broad-based experience will help to position AES to take advantage of profitable growth opportunities.
Joe obtained his MBA from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, majoring in Finance & Accounting. He began his restaurant career as a Financial Analyst with General Mills Restaurant Group (Red Lobster & Olive Garden), before transitioning to Pizza Hut where he served as a Region Controller.
Joe then spent 5 years with Long John Silver’s where he advanced from Director of Financial Services to VP-Field Marketing/Media Services. He spent several years with Arby’s corporate group in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Strategic Asset Management and Real Estate Development. Joe most recently served as CFO for Wings Etc. before joining AES in October 2018.
