AES Restaurant Group LLC recently announced the purchase of twelve Arby’s restaurants located in Northern Indiana and Southwestern Michigan. With this acquisition, AES now owns and operates 170 restaurants and has extended their footprint into their 16th state.
“We are so excited to add these locations to the growing AES family. These restaurants have a long history of success and service to the community. We could not be prouder to enhance the impact these restaurants and teams will continue to have in Northern Indiana and Southwestern Michigan,” said John Wade, CEO and Founder. The management and restaurant teams will remain the same but will now be under the leadership of twenty-year Arby’s veteran, Vice President of Operations Robert Bird. We have a plan to remodel and revitalize the restaurants and are thrilled to be part of these Arby’s legacy markets. “AES is committed to remodeling and growing the Arby’s brand. We are excited to have already completed equipment upgrades such as brand-new fryers and shake machines. Investing in new development and remodeling our existing restaurants demonstrates a commitment to the brand, to our employees, and to the communities we serve,” added Wade. “The feedback we’ve received from our guests and our teams has been overwhelmingly positive.” AES Restaurant Group was established in 2004 to continue to grow and support the Arby’s brand in the Lafayette, Indiana market. Today, AES owns and operates 170 Arby’s restaurant locations in sixteen states. For more information on AES Restaurant Group and their impact on their communities, please visit aesrestaurants.com.
